The project

The seasons take the stage

On 17 and 18 October 2026, Ensemble Accademia Ducale presents Alessandro Scarlatti’s La Gloria di Primavera, a 1716 Baroque serenata for five voices and orchestra.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Jupiter become the voices of an allegorical theatre of colour, contrast and emotion. This new production is presented in a version for modern instruments revised by Marco Monitto and conducted by Lorenzo Antonio Iosco.
