Concert Seasons

The concert seasons organized by the Academy offer audiences a fresh and creative take on classical music, often combining different art forms and storytelling.
Thanks to its unique approach and diverse programming, which includes many world premieres, the Academy has been recognized by the Italian Ministry of Culture and included in the FUS (Fondo Unico per lo Spettacolo).
Over the years, it has welcomed well-known artists from both the Italian and international music scenes.

The musicians place great importance on engaging the audience. Performances are often introduced with stories, background information, and anecdotes about the music, the composers, and the historical context.
This interaction creates a more personal experience, turning the audience from passive listeners into active participants.

Fondazione Accademia Ducale is a member and regional representative for Basilicata of AIAM (Associazione Italiana Attività Musicali), collaborates with SIMC (Società Italiana Musica Contemporanea), is listed on the CIDIM website, and works with the prestigious Centro Ricerche Musicali LvBeethoven.it.
